• Eat and
drink as you normally would
• Wear clothes without metal zippers or
hooks
• Leave coins, keys, jewelry, hearing
aids,
hairpins, wallets, credit cards, watches and
dentures in your patient locker or with a friend.
The exam takes from 30 –
90 minutes.
In some cases a contrast agent maybe used depending
on the study requested.
Results are delivered to your
physician personally within 24- 48 hours of
your exam.
