Yes we do accept payment plans for patients
who do not have insurance coverage. We ask that
you please contact our business office prior
to scheduling your exam to make payment arrangements.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your
actual appointment time to fill out the necessary
paperwork for insurance, HIPPA and procedure
purposes. We have a very tight schedule and
it is important that we stay on time in order
to accommodate the many patients we see everyday.
Due to safety issues, a parent or guardian,
may or may not accompany a child during an exam.
This will depend upon the type of exam the child
is scheduled for. Please feel free to ask this
question when scheduling your appointment.
The examinations are performed by highly trained
technologists. All of our technologist have
had extensive training in performing radiological
procedures and are registered professionals.
A board certified radiologist will interpret
your case. Your physician will be notified of
your results usually within 24-48 hours of your
examination. In the event that your case is
a medical emergency, we will notify your physician
immediately of your results.
Yes it is. A radiologist is a physician just
like your family doctor…but he has been
trained in diagnostic radiology. Our radiologist
is certified by the American College of Radiology
(ACR). This certification means that you are
being evaluated by the very best available.
Yes there is. We have dressing rooms throughout
our facility which allows you privacy when changing
into a gown. If someone accompanies you to our
center, we ask you to leave your valuables with
that person while having your exam.
Occasionally, the radiologist will request additional
images. In most cases, there is nothing to be
concerned about. Additional images are often
required to fully evaluate your study.
The radiologist needs to see how your current
films compare with old ones. This helps to identify
subtle changes that may have occurred since
your last examination.
