1. Evaluation and testing of the Dimetrics Hi-pulse machine, the purpose of which was to determine the effects of high frequency pulsation on Gas Tungsten Arc (GTA) welding, especially on the width and penetration of the weld bead.

2. Development work on the plasma welder with the purpose of increasing its power output while reducing the phenomenon called "double arcing".

3. Design, fabrication and evaluation of the torch head for the GTA Pressure Roller Welder and with it, construction of an electronic motorized inside circumference measuring device.
